Our Mission

ZenSha started with a simple idea: matcha and protein belong together.

After a trip to Japan, we experienced real matcha for the first time. Clean energy, steady focus, no crash. When we got home, we kept adding it to our protein shakes, and it quickly became part of our daily routine.

That idea turned into ZenSha.

We source high-quality Japanese matcha and blend it with premium New Zealand whey, then mix and pack everything locally in Nelson. Every batch is made with purpose, tested by us, and refined through real customer feedback.

ZenSha began as a Young Enterprise business and was recognised nationally - placing 2nd overall at the YES National Awards and winning the Innovation Excellence Award.
